Concept

Square aluminum frames, set one inside the next. The seat and back sit between them at a lounge angle.

Early studies for posture, the heel cradle, and the aluminum frame.

Joinery

Frame members join with L-brackets and countersunk stainless steel machine screws.

Frame joint: L-bracket and countersunk machine screws.

Materials

Two nested frames precision-machined from aluminum plate/billet. Joined via flush countersunk stainless machine screws and internal L-brackets for rigid, zero-weld knock-down assembly.
